i swear i have extract the roads from a routable img, save as MP with Mapedit and then recompile to another routable img with a routable version of cgpsmapper.

Maybe with old versions of Mapedit does not work, but al least with last version of Mapedit (even the free one) you can open a routable img ...

I mean raster maps with DEM data, coordinate z of elevation, i dont mean contours lines.

Yes, all the data in these maps comes from ICC (Institut Cartographic of Catalunya www.icc.es) 1:5000, and it's for free!!
