[MapInstall] - aktualizacje

Pojawiła się aktualizacja MapInstall. Nie mamy jeszcze wątku monitorującego więc "voila".
MapInstall software version 3.14.4
Poniżej lista ostatnich zmian z 19-12-2010.

Added ability to automatically send all current map products to newer devices if possible.
Added ability to send full map products to newer devices rather than needing to select individual map tiles.
Added display of how many map tiles are selected.
Changed the map selection page to no longer list map products that are locked for the selected device.

To jakieś skomplikowane metody

Na pocieszenie dodam, że Mapinstall właściwie jeszcze nie działa poprawnie.

Spróbuj to samo zrobić z mapą, którą masz już w odbiorniku
Z UMP to nie przechodzi, bo twierdzi że mapa już jest i nie wgrywa. Gdzieś trzeba dać wyróżnik wersji. Pewnie z produkcjami GPS Maniaka będzie też ten sam problem.

Jak wejdziesz w tryb zaawansowany, to Twój wybór zostanie przesłany, mimo że już jest w odbiorniku. Alternatywnie można najpierw usunąć plik UMP, co da się zrobić przy pomocy Windows jak i Mapinstall.
Ponieważ Garmin sporo nabałaganił w aktualnej wersji, to z testowaniem polecam zaczekać do najbliższej aktualizacji.

Z wersjami u Garmina to jest tak jak z winem. Czasem te starsze są lepsze

Jeżeli ktoś będzie miał problem z instalacją aktualizacji 4.0.1 na win xp sp3 - komunikat o nie obsługiwanej wersji systemu operacyjnego to remedium jest analogiczne przy BaseCamp.

MapInstall software version 4.0.3

Added functionality that allows using the middle mouse button to pan the map.
Fixed progress feedback at the end of trimming (MapInstall should not remain at 100% for a long time without actually being at 100%).

Tu leży sam plik wykonywalny wersji 4.0.3, do podmiany. Umożliwia wysłanie mapy na dowolny dysk.

Widzi mi się, że sam się aktualizuje przy aktualizacji CNE.

Mi aktualizacja weszła automatycznie przy aktualizacji BaseCamp.
Oczywiście w stylu Garmina - bez jakiejkolwiek informacji, że oprócz BaseCamp
zostały wgrane inne programy.

Nowy natomiast jest Mapinstall, tzn. nie ten w pakiecie z BaseCamp, tylko trzeba zainstalować osobno:

Żeby nie zapomnieć, wgrywałem dzisiejszą UMP MapInstall'em. Po drodze wyskoczyła taka formatka (piszę z pamięci, więc mniej-więcej):
"W odbiorniku znaleziono nierozpoznaną mapę Polska Adresy. Usunąć?
[Tak], [Nie]"
Zaznaczam [Nie] więc ... usuwa. Problem żaden bo przywrócenie jest banalne, ale skoro i tak zrobi swoje, to po ch..re pyta?
