Edge 605/705 - Aktualizacja oprogramowania

Słyszałem że jest nowy soft do edge 705. Mam 2.10. Ma ktoś namiar skąd to pobrać???

Najprościej przez Webupdater'a dostępnego na stronie Garmina.
Perry z gpsinformation.net nie ma jeszcze w swoim archiwum plików do tego modelu.

Wczoraj pojawiło się uaktualnienie software do Edge 705.

Garmin has released Firmware v2.50 for the Edge 605/705 units. You can install it using the webupdater supplied by Garmin. If you are not on a traditional OS or if you want to do an update manually the instructions below should help.

To download and install manually, use the following link. You'll have to rename it to gupdate.gcd and put it in the garmin folder of the root directory on the Edge not the SD card. Discconnect the unit, turn it on and it will do the software update.

Based on the experiences of previous FW updates you should do a hard reset after the unit finishes. Be sure to save history and note your screen layouts since they will revert back to the original display.

Changes from version 2.40 to version 2.50:

Implemented change to allow the user to access Map Setup option for tracks which will allow showing that track on a map, and what color to display it in.
Added ability to set Off-Route Recalculation behavior in Routing menu. User can set it to Automatic, Off, or Prompted.
Fixed issue with long routes shutting down.
Fixed issue where Autopause and Start/Stop were not getting saved into the History files. This could also cause Courses created from this History to not register these times.
Fixed issue where History files would occasionally not upload due to misaligned data.
Fixed inaccurate elevation when moving to and from areas with distinctly different altitudes or atmospheric pressures.

Wreszcie jest jakiś sposób na kalibrację wskazania alimetru. Prawdę powiedziawszy trochę pokrętny, ale jest .

Dziwna sprawa. Zainstalowalem webupdatera, pdolaczam Edge 605, otrzymuje informacje ze jest nowszy soft od mojego (3.10), wiec akceptuje i przechodze dalej. Pojawia sie komunikat iz device zostal zaktualizowany i tyle. A na Edge'u w menu Ustawienia / O edge widnieje ciagle wersja 3.00 . O co chodzi?
Co robie nie tak? Edge na pewno jest polaczony z komputerem bo zarowno wgrywam sobie trasy z mapsource'a, jak i garmin connect. Zreszta wideniej jako dysk E:/Garmin. Prosba o pomoc.

Mam też 605 ale wgrałem i w informacjach systemowych jest napisane 3.1
Firmware w ver3.0 to nie było do Edge'a 2.9 i następne 3.1 więc ciekawe jest to co piszesz ?

Po wgraniu aktualizacji podłącz Edga do ładowarki sieciowej.

Widzę, że nie ma jakiś stanowczych zmian w stosunku do wersji 3.10. Czy warto wgrywać

Ja bym wgrywał, z tego powodu: Improved calculation and reporting of total ascent, total descent, and grade.
Miałem tak, że nachylenie do pewnego momentu działało idealnie, a potem przestawało wskazywać. Może właśnie to poprawili.

Witam,

czy ktoś ma może firmware w wersji 3.10 (albo 2.9) bo niestety 3.30 ma ten sam błąd co 3.20, autopauzuje kiedy mu się tylko zachce.

Nie wyświetla wszystkich tracków w "dokąd" Edge 705

Posiadam Edge 705
zawsze wgrywam na bieżąco tracki , bo "dziwnie" je widzi
Usunęłam ręćznie wchodząc do menu "Dokąd" ->Zapisane ślady/przejazdy
i te, które usunęłam niektóre dalej się pojawiają przy kolejnym uruchomieniu garmina

Garmina mam 2 lata ale długo nie używałam , leży , nie aktualizowałam softu, może po aktualizacji będzie działać?

Mapy wgrywam "ręcznie" przez komputer(mapa województwa) , da się przez kopiowanie wgrać tracka, by widział ?
Planuję urlop wkrótce , chciałam wgrać kilka tracków przed wyjazdem, jako, że nie będe miała dostępu do komputera,
a po wgraniu widzi niektóre, niektóre nie..

Ktoś pomoże?

Z góry bardzo dzięuję!
p.s. tracki wgrywam tylko przez gpsies, tak jedynie mi wchodziły;)

To chyba było: Menu - > Ustawienia -> O Edge

Poza tym ostatni aktualizacja firmware była chyba w 2010 roku .
