Hello Mr.PouchX, and I am very sorry for not writing in polish. But this is the only way I can contact with you. I am a big admirer of this forum and you also, and very often I am reading topics with google.translate and learning something new. I think I even begin understanding polish!

My problem is that I am translating in bulgarian some of the cyrillized firmwares of GPS 72, GPS 60, SummitHC, Vista/LegendHCX and GPSMAP 60CSX. But after translating the text and uploading the firmwares to a GPS and entering in the diagnostic menu it shows ROM Fail. I understand that this problem is caused due to the wrong checksum of the *.rgn but I have no idea how to correct it to be compatible. Here are the original cirillizied firmwares in russian which are NOT making ROM Fail:
